Our Mission
Never again have to feel alone, afraid, scared and uninformed. Comforting Touch End-of-Life Doula Care offers care for those with chronic/terminal illness, end-of-life care and care plan coordination. At comforting touch, we can provide loving support during and after a loved one dies. This non-medical care helps with comfort, love, education, and after death planning. When my father-in-law was on Hospice I noticed that our family needed more than medical care. My mother-in law needed Someone who could help explain what was happening, what death may look like, help with funeral arrangements, VA benefits, insurance benefits, medical paperwork assistance, in home counseling and more. My in-laws experience inspired me to go back to school and pursue End-of-life Doula Care. If you or a loved one needs a comforting touch and informed care; you are not alone. Eldercare and Care Coordination
• Meeting with clients and families on a regular basis to make sure that client is happy, safe, and healthy. Developing goals and monitoring progress. Communicating health changes and wishes with care team and family.
• Being a liaison for families and loved ones by providing patient and family education. Coordinating schedules, appointments, and patient care. Assisting with client referrals and resources in their area.
• Transportation to doctor appointments, general appointments, and grocery shopping.

End-of-Life Doula Services
Provides a supportive, caring, and compassionate presence to the dying and their loved ones.
• Offering education, emotional support, and comfort. Provide educational information to patients and families about stages of dying.
• Advocating for the patient and loved ones wishes.
•The services offered by an End-of-Life Doula could include providing the opportunity to talk openly and honestly about the dying process; alleviating the anxiety, guilt and shame often associated with death. (Please know everyone’s journey is different therefore everyone’s services are different Each client will have their own tailored plan of services.)
• 24-hour support during the death and dying process.
• Communicating and coordinating care with doctors, facilities, insurance, and Hospice.
• Comfort for the dying through massage, prayer (if desired), calming music, creating a peaceful environment, coordination of care; helping with legacy projects to memorialize the life of the soon-to-be deceased; respite care for family members; vigil and funeral planning.
Postmortem care and planning services
• Contacting Hospice (if client was under their care), funeral home, family members and medical care team.
• Bathing and dressing the client’s body if they wish.
• Supporting loved ones after clients passing.
• Help with any clean up if needed.
• Contact equipment rental companies for equipment pick up.
• Support and assist family with any funeral or final planning.
• Continued support and counseling for loved ones after client’s death.
